Skill Rewards? - Guild Wars Forums

So I've heard that we are given skills as rewards in Nightfall and I've been reluctant to buy my skills because of this. Yet here I am at level 12 and I haven't gotten a single skill as a reward for a completed quest.

Do we actually get skills as rewards or should I just go ahead and buy the ones I want? Maybe I'm just not far enough yet but, so far, it seems as though it's more like Factions than Prophecies and that I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and purchase my skills.

Any advice from someone who's been through Nightfall? I don't need a spoiler as to when but it would be nice to know if anyone could give their opinion on whether or not I should just do it.

.....kinda getting bored of the starter skills by level 12 *chuckle*

The ones that I can think of are the Hero skills, you unlock them for the acct and you character too. The other ones are the 2nd prof skills you get when you choose a 2nd prof.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ah, but no primary/secondary character skills awarded like they were in Prophecies?

That would make sense of what I remember reading...

Lightbringer Skills are available later in the game (2 different ones they are rewards for killing demons) Check Guildwiki out for more info.

I'll go ahead and just buy the primary skills for my Dervish. I guess I may have to take him to Cantha when I'm able for some quick Skill Points *chuckle*
